Applicant Terms and Conditions

HCC Job Placement services assist all current and former students seeking employment. Services are free but require your cooperation and compliance. Applicants will behave in a professional manner with our office and our listed employers. Take a minute and read these terms before you click "I Agree".

1.  I am a current or former HCC student and I understand I may only use this system to seek employment for myself, not for family or friends who do not qualify for these services.

2.  I am eligible for employment in the United States. I will produce the necessary documents to establish identity and employment eligibility upon application with any employer.

3. I agree to keep “My Registration” information including my address, telephone numbers, and email address, current. I understand this information is NOT readily visible to employers

4. I will complete “My Profile”, with Education, Work and Skills information before I can search job listings. I will keep "My Profile" information current. This information WILL be visible to prospective employers. I will compose and upload a well-styled Resume in MS Word or RTF format to upload to my Job Connections workspace.

5. I understand and agree that "My Profile" data, as well as documents I upload to Job Connections are subject to editing, revision and approval by HCC Job Placement staff. 

6.  The information I provide to the Job Placement office is accurate. I authorize the HCC Job Placement office to release this information to prospective employers. I will not misrepresent my skills, education or previous experience online or at interviews.
 
7. I will reply promptly (within 24 hours, whenever possible) to all communications from the Job Placement office, prospective employers or agencies in my INBOX, when an attempt to contact me is made. 

8. I am a reflection of HCC and will represent my college and myself well during my job search. I will dress appropriately and be punctual for all job interviews, or call in advance if I am delayed or unable to keep a scheduled appointment.

9. I understand HCC cannot guarantee employment. Job opportunities presented on Job Connections are not guaranteed by HCC or its staff In the interest of insuring quality job listings, I agree to immediately notify a HCC Job Placement office of any concerns I have with any questionable interview, employer, offer, or fees, I may encounter as a result of a Job Connections referral.

10. I agree to notify my Job Placement Office online when I accept a position or in the event I decide to discontinue my job search for any other reason.

By selecting "I Agree" below, I am affirming to work within these guidelines. Failure on my part to comply with the terms of this agreement will result in my Student Job Placement file being deactivated, and I may be suspended from using HCC job referrals for up to one year.  If you cannot make the above commitments, select "I Decline”.

Applicant Registration Help

Job Connections is free to all HCC students and former students. You will need to provide your 9 digit Student ID number, your birth date, and a current email address to register. You will also create a unique password to access this system.

* red asterisk, are required.

Student ID Number: To find out your 9 digit number, not your 7 digit Web ID number, please contact the nearest HCC Admissions Office. You MUST go in person to request your Student ID Number. This number is NOT given out over the telephone or sent by email.
